BTS Video: Mackenzie & Mikaela
Last month, I was able to shoot these two talented choreographers who are embarking on quite a project. I haven’t released these photos yet — soon! I’m thrilled about this project, and you’ll be hearing a lot more about it in the very near future. My brother, Stephen, came along and took some footage of the afternoon. Check out Mackenzie & Mikaela’s new blog, designed by the wonderful Kristy (wrecklessgirl) (!) — more info will be up soon!

Studying the works of these two artists to prepare for a dance gig.
Felt compelled to share their amazing work…

“When you put together things that other people have thrown out, you’re really bringing them to life
– a spiritual life that surpasses the life for which they were originally created.”

I notice that it is only when my mother is working in her flowers that she is radiant, almost to the point of being invisible–except as Creator: hand and eye. She is involved in work her soul must have. Ordering the universe in the image of her personal conception of Beauty. (Alice Walker, In Search of Our Mothers’ Gardens)
